  Las inversiones socialmente responsables (ISR) han aumentado significativamente en los últimos años, por lo que parece oportuno iniciar un análisis del proceso inversor ligado a ellas. El objetivo principal de este trabajo es identificar el impacto de la introducción de una política ISR en el proceso inversor, así como examinar sus posibles causas y consecuencias. La investigación comienza con la revisión del desarrollo actual de las ISR y las posibilidades y limitaciones que tienen los inversores socialmente responsables. Después del estudio del proceso inversor tradicional y de los procesos de una muestra significativa de inversores socialmente responsables, se identifican y analizan los cambios que se producen en el proceso inversor cuando se introducen factores ligados a la responsabilidad social en la política de inversión.

  Socially responsible investments (SRI) have significantly increased in the last years, which deems appropriate to develop the knowledge of the investment process linked to them. The main objective of this work is to identify the impact of introducing a SRI policy in the investment process as well as its causes and consequences. The analysis begins with the review of the current development of the SRI and the possibilities and limitations SRI investors face. Then, the detailed study of the traditional investment process and of the processes of a representative sample of SRI investors will allow the identification and analysis of the changes happening in an investment process when a SRI policy is introduced.
