Se reflexiona acerca de la necesidad de que las facultades de ciencias agrarias respondan al reto de formar un profesional más abierto y flexible, capaz de generar nuevos conocimientos, comprometido con el desarrollo de los productores agrícolas y con una formación integral y globalizadora.

In regard lo the world's new realities, the training of professional in agrarian sciences cannot be based on passive teaching-learning methods and which do not have anyrelationship with the Latin-American and Caribbean reality. Therefore there is a challenge of training open minded professionals who are self taught and able to generate new knowledge, sensitive to their reality and committed with the agricultural development.
