Se estudian las manifestaciones del deseo que autores de diferentes épocas atribuyeron al personaje de Hero. En las fuentes originales, la sacerdotisa de Venus no tiene demasiados reparos en declarar su amor. En la Edad Media, la muchacha se muestra desdeñosa e incluso no llega a dirigirle la palabra. En el Renacimiento, recupera era decisión de expresar el deseo en su primer encuentro con Leandro.

This article studies the manifestations of desire that authors of different periods attributed to the character of Hero. In the original sources, the priestess of Venus doesn’t have too many qualms about declaring her love to Leandro. In the Middle Ages the girl shows disdain for him and in some cases will not even speak to him. In the Renaissance gets the decision to express the desire in his first meeting with Leandro.
