  • In March 1996, the Indianapolis ITT Technical Institute started offering an Associate of Applied Science degree program in Chemical Technology. A year later, the ITT Technical Institute, Houston West, also started offering the program. The curriculum is designed to meet industry's growing need for chemical technicians and is based on input from employers and the Voluntary Industry Standards for Chemical Process Industries Technical Workers.
