El texto presenta al lector, en primer lugar, una serie de rasgos que son comúnmente considerados como parte de la caracterología del mexicano, posteriormente presenta lo que constituyen los deberes ético-jurídicos básicos de las personas respecto al desarrollo nacional, para finalmente presentar una serie de reflexiones en torno a los obstáculos que se presentan en torno al desarrollo del país y del papel que los mexicanos han jugado y deberían jugar respecto al mismo.

The text presents to the reader, in the first place, a series of features that are commonly considered as part of the characterology of the Mexican, later on it presents what constitutes the basic ethical-juridical duties of people regarding national development, to finally present a series of reflections around the obstacles present around the development of the country and of the part that Mexicans have and should play regarding it.
