    Preséntase o MEIRANDE, un Centro de Interpretación sobre a Batalla e o Patrimonio Industrial na Ría de Vigo, no Estreito de Rande da Enseada de San Simón. Exponse o seu proceso de creación e citamos as liñas básicas da musealización. Localizado na Fábrica do Alemán, nos restos arruinados dunha factoría de salga reconvertida en conserveira. A Fábrica foi testemuña dos procesos históricos acontecidos na ría de Vigo en relación ao seu desenvolvemento industrial en época contemporánea e está situada ademais no lugar onde sucedeu a Batalla de Rande no ano 1702.

    Introducing the MEIRANDE, an Interpretation Centre about the Battle of Rande and the Industrial Heritage of the Estuary of Vigo, in the Strait of Rande, in San Simón Bay. The creation process and the basic lines of the conversion into a museum are presented. The Meirande is located in “The Factory of the German”, a ruined salting factory that had been transformed into a canning one. This factory witnessed the historical processes that occurred in the Estuary of Vigo in relation to its industrial development in modern times and is located in the place where the Battle of Rande took place in 1702.
