Notwithstanding emx or ornission, only an unforgMeeible oversight by the local government could explain the fact that the third centerrafy of the birth of the great engineer, architect and town planner, José de Hermosi7la, has gone or is gong largely unnoticed in Madrid. This, in spite of the profound mark left by Hermosilla all these disciplines and particulany town planning, vvhere he was respcnsrbie for overseeing the total renovation of the centre-south of Madrid, as first envisaged during the raigo of Ferorinand VI and later put frito operaton by Charles III. ThrS article servas as the veny least this joumal may ollar by way of homage.
