Resumen de Meister Eckhart e Marguerite Porète: dois caminhos de negação radical sob um mesmo traço distintivo

  Este artículo en cuestión visa un enfrentamiento entre la figura del dominicano Maestro Eckhart y de la beguina Marguerite Porète. Esta alma inflamada por el amor de Dios escribió el “Espejo de las almas simples y aniquiladas”, libro que fue quemado junto con ella por la Inquisición en el día 1° de Mayo de 1310 en París. A pesar de no haber documentos que comprueben la lectura de esta obra por el dominicano, hay razones suficientes para reconocer que sus temas centrales son los mismos de Marguerite. Con efecto, la relación paradigmática con Dios en ambos autores, se hace un retorno a un fondo del Ser que Eckhart llama “Gottheit” y Marguerite “Néant”.

  This article aims for a comparison between the figure of Dominican Meister Eckhart and the beguine Marguerite Porete. This soul inflamed by God‟s love wrote the “Mirror of the simple souls who are annihilated”, book burned with her by the Inquisition, on the 1 st of May of 1310 in Paris. Despite not having documents that prove the reading of this book by the Dominican, there are enough reasons to recognize that his central themes are the same as Marguerite‟s. In effect, the paradigmatic relation with God in both authors becomes a return to the innermost depth of the being which Eckhart calls “Gottheit” and Marguerite “Néant”.

  O artigo em questão visa um confronto entre a figura do dominicano Meister Eckhart e da beguina Marguerite Porète. Essa alma inflamada pelo amor de Deus escreveu o "Espelho das almas simples e aniquiladas", livro que foi queimado junto com ela pela Inquisição, no dia 1º de Maio de 1310 em Paris. Apesar de não haver documentos que comprovem a leitura por parte do dominicano dessa obra, há suficientes razões para reconhecer que seus temas centrais são os mesmo de Marguerite.Com efeito, a relação paradigmática com Deus em ambos os autores, torna-se um retorno a um fundo do Ser que Eckhart chama "Gottheit" e Marguerite "Néant".
