• Based on resource-based view (RBV), this study ascertained if information integration (II) can be exploited to obtain a distinct supply chain (SC) advantage. A survey investigation was conducted for high-tech manufacturing firms in Taiwan. A structural equation modeling was applied to examine nine hypotheses. Most important, we found that investment in II creates better performance and competitive advantage when companies increase capabilities of logistics and partnerships in dynamic SC collaborations. The findings provide insight to guide II investments to enhance SC performance
