    Las sociedades nacionales se transformaron bajo la interdependencia globalizada;

    las comunicaciones están revolucionadas por la digitalización de la radio, el cine y la televisión, así como por el despliegue de Internet, los celulares y las redes sociales. La cultura se cuestiona si subsistirán los soportes que le dieron entidad: los libros en papel, los discos, las salas de cine. Se cuestiona en qué condiciones puede seguir hablándose de patrimonio histórico y cultural en tiempos de turismo mundializado, mercantilización absorbente y desmaterialización de los bienes simbólicos.

    La pregunta que subyace este artículo es cómo es posible modificar el modo de investigar la comunicación, la cultura, la sociedad y la política, teniendo en cuenta que no se ha encontrado aún una teoría omniabarcadora; al mismo tiempo describe el paisaje que hoy habitamos.

    National societies were transformed under the global interdependence;

    communications are revolutionized by the digitalisation of radio, film and television, as well as the deployment of Internet, mobile phones and social networks. The culture questioned if it´s possible the surviving of the supports that gave it entity: paper books, records, cinemas. The culture question it self under wich conditions can continue talking about cultural heritage and historical in times of globalized tourism, absorbent marketization and dematerialization of symbolic goods.

    The question underlying this article is how you can change the way to research the communication, culture, society and politics knowing that no one, has yet been found all-embracing theory. At the same time describes the landscape we inhabit today.
