More on Dionisio Mazzuoli: the testament and inventory of his inheritance.
The paper that follows the article by Valentina Manganaro tracing a profile of the life and career of Dionisio Mazzuoli brings to our attention two documents drawn up around the day of the master's death on 21 August 1669: his last will and testament, drawn up on 17 August, and an inventory of his inheritance, compiled between 22 and 26 August. Both documents shed new light on Mazzuoli's personality, revealing in particular his attachment to his wife and children, his idea of family, and the living standards he succeeeded in creating for himself and his closest kin.
