Se presenta un método alternativo simple para resolver el problema relativista de una partícula cargada que se mueve en presencia de una onda electromagnética plana. Se ofrece un elemento didáctico que auxilie en el proceso de enseñanza de la electrodinámica.
We present a simple method to solving the relativistic proble of a charged particle when it is moving in presence of anelectromagnetic plane wave field. Employing the relativistic Newton's second law in the mean rest reference system, the particle paths for waves of different polarization were determined. Then the particle radiation intensity was calculated and compared to the forthcoming electromagnetic wave in the same reference system.
