Resumen de Comunicações: As Magneto-Resistências (MR) e o Prêmio Nobel de Física de 2007

Neste artigo, apresentamos um pequeno resumo histórico da descoberta das Magneto-Resistências realizada, independentemente, pelas equipes dos físicos, o francês Albert Fert e o alemão Peter Andreas Grünberg, descoberta essa que valeu o Prêmio Nobel de Física deste ano de 2007 a esses dois cientistas. Destacamos também, a participação do físico brasileiro Mário Norberto Baibich, que trabalhava na equipe de Albert Fert por ocasião dessa descoberta.

In this article we present a brief historical summary of the discovery of the Magneto-Resistance accomplished independently by two physicists; France's Albert Fert and German German Peter Grünberg. For this discovery they were awarded the Physics Nobel Prize in 2007. We also detach, the participation of the Brazilian Physicist Mário Norberto Baibich who worked in Albert Fert's team at the time of this discovery.
