Sujetos de la historia: entre excéntricos y paranoicos

      El presente artículo reflexiona en torno al oficio del escritor y a su relación con la Historia en tanto documento y archivo, para advertir de qué modo funciona la obra literaria en medio de la compleja discusión entre ficción y verdad. Se pretende, asimismo, generar en los futuros licenciados en Español y Literatura una propuesta de análisis de la obra narrativa frente al discurso de la historia, que sea posible desarrollar en el ejercicio docente. Desde este lugar problemático, pretendo relacionar el oficio de escritor con el del historiador de oficio, más que para subrayar las distancias, para explorar aquellos aspectos que vinculan a ambos, como Sujetos Históricos, con un deseo de conocer el mundo a través del discurso, bajo una serie de presupuestos éticos y morales que acompañan toda labor intelectual. Para desplegar ese conocimiento de mundo el escritor de oficio crea unos personajes que suelen traducirse en metáforas de la profunda relación que aquel instaura con la realidad histórica. Así, contemplamos en las obras de ficción y no-ficción personajes que investigan, cotejan documentos y elaboran hipótesis como si se tratara de historiadores. Es el caso de Javier, el investigador en Soldados de Salamina. Es también el caso de Tomás Eloy en la novela Santa Evita, o de Emilio Renzi en Respiración artificial, y, desde luego, del vagabundo Gould en El secreto de Joe Gould. La Historia como relato, la verdad como versión, la investigación como procedimiento narrativo y la excentricidad como un modo de vida, son algunos de los motivos que animan aquí una postura crítica frente a la relación de Historia y Ficción en el ambiente de las representaciones discursivas.Agents of history: between eccentric and paranoid  AbstractThis article debates about the role of the writer and its relation with history which has been shown in every document and file so it will warn on the ways on how the work of literature evolves in the midst of the complex discussion between fiction and truth. It also pretends for the Spanish and Literature future graduate students to make a possible to develop proposal for the analysis of the narrative against the discourse of history, in the teaching practice. From this problematic state, the pretension is to relate the role of the writer with the role of the historian more than underlining the distances to explore those aspects linking both as historical individuals with an urge to know the world through the discourse under a series of ethical and moral assumptions that accompany every intellectual work. To display that knowledge of the world, the writer creates personages who often become metaphors of the profound relation instituted with the historical reality. Therefore, in the works of fiction and nonfiction we contemplate characters that make research, compare documentation and hypothesized like historians do. This is the case of Javier the researcher in “Soldados de Salamina”. It´s also the case of Tomas Eloy in the novel “Santa Evita”, or Emilio Renzi in “Respiracion Artificial”, and, of course, the outcast Gould in “El Secreto de Joe Gould”. History as a narrative, truth as a version, and research as a narrative procedure and eccentricity as a lifestyle are some of the reasons to encourage a critical position towards the relation between history and fiction in the environment of discursive representations.Key words Discourse, eccentricity, history, literature, metaphor
