La subjetividad del cyborg: ¿prosopon o avatar? Una reflexión antropológica

    El presente artículo pretende reflexionar sobre el sujeto humano que emerge en el mundo de lo virtual. La tradición filosófica ha definido al ser humano desde la antropología; en algún momento se le denominó «persona» al ser humano, empero las circunstancias hacen que el concepto cambie. Las actuales coordenadas que enmarcan al ser humano en categorías que se imponen social y culturalmente hacen que el concepto hombre tenga nuevas modificaciones. Al decir «hombre», hoy por hoy se están involucrando nuevas variables y distintos componentes de tipo tecnológico, biológico, científico, etc. Además, el mundo que habita el hombre se ha transformado por la intervención de la tecnología, propiciando ese nuevo concepto de habitante del mundo. Por lo anterior, una de las definiciones de hombre es cyborg, y el mundo que habita ha ampliado sus fronteras, llamándose ahora ciberespacio, y avatar será una proyección de la definición de hombre habitando el ciberespacio.

    This article aims to reflect on the human subject that emerges in the world of the virtual. The philosophical tradition has defined the human being from anthropology; at some point it was called the human person, however, circumstances dictate that the concept change. The current coordinates framing human beings into categories that are social and culturally imposed make the concept man has new modification. By saying man, today, they are involving new variables and different components of technological, biological, scientific, etc. In addition, the world he inhabits man has transformed by the intervention of promoting this new technology concept capita in the world. Therefore, one of the definitions of man and the world is cyborg that lives has expanded its borders, calling now cyberspace and avatar will be a screening of the definition of man inhabiting cyberspace.
