    Las relaciones culturales entre los países de habla alemana y España han sido objeto de estudio de numerosas investigaciones científicas. Dentro de este contexto, la dictadura franquista (1939-1975) constituye una época especialmente relevante, puesto que coincide no sólo con una masiva emigración de mano obrera española a Alemania sino también con el incipiente turismo de masas. Del choque entre la cultura española y la alemana surgieron numerosos heteroestereotipos y autoestereotipos, prejuicios y clichés, cuya vigencia se sigue observando en la actualidad. A través de diversos ejemplos audiovisuales, este artículo pretende incidir en la idiosincrasia particular de ambos pueblos y analizar de manera ejemplar el encuentro de ambas culturas.

    The cultural relations between German-speaking countries and Spain have been a popular subject of scientific research. In this context, the Spanish dictatorship (1939-1975) is a particularly striking era, which coincides not only with a massive emigration of Spanish workers to Central Europe but also with the beginnings of mass tourism. Many hetero- and auto-stereotypes, prejudices and clichés came up from the encounter and interaction of the Spanish and German culture. By using various audiovisual examples, this paper aims at offering an insight into the different cultural characters of these interaction partners and examines the encounter of both cultures in an exemplifying way.

    Die kulturellen Beziehungen zwischen den deutschsprachigen Ländern und Spanien waren schon immer ein beliebtes Thema vieler wissenschaftlicher Abhandlungen. Die Zeit der spanischen Diktatur (1939-1975) ist eine in dieser Hinsicht besonders auffällige Epoche, die nicht nur mit einer massiven Arbeiteremigration, sondern auch mit dem Aufkommen des Massentourismus zusammenfällt. Aus dem Aufeinanderstoßen der spanischen und der deutschen Kultur entstanden viele, zum Teil noch heute gültige Heterostereotype und Autostereotype, Vorurteile und Klischees. Anhand verschiedener audiovisueller Beispiele soll auf die unterschiedliche kulturelle Prägung der Interaktionspartner näher eingegegangen werden und die Begegnung beider Kulturen exemplarisch untersucht werden.
