Resumen de La presència de la tradició lexicogràfica valenciana en el Diccionari Normatiu Valencià (DNV): l’exemple del "Vocabulario Valenciano-Castellano" de Cabrera (1868/1899)

  L’article vol avaluar la importància de la presència i aprofitament de les fonts lexicogràfiques del segle XIX en el Diccionari Normatiu Valencià, diccionari que ha augmentat en més de 20.000 vocables el DIEC. Per a tal fi, pren com a mostra un petit Vocabulario valenciano-­castellano de 1868, que, en una època de forta castellanització i de menyspreu de l’idioma propi com a fet cultural, arreplega una bona part dels lexemes valencians de diferent etimologia i forma que el seus equivalents castellans amb l’objectiu d’ajudar a aprendre i millorar el castellà dels valencians, seguint una tradició que arranca en el segle XVIII amb Carles Ros, 1764 i seguix en Salvà, 1838. El contrast entre el DNV i el Vocabulario és el gros de l’article, on es veu com els lexemes tradicionals valencians presents en el XIX i vius encara hui en gent de la primera generació són integrats en el nou diccionari normatiu valencià de l’AVL, seguint un dels principis guia de la seua tasca: la integració dels mots tradicionals vius en la normativa valenciana, generalment, en esta primera fase, com a formes secundàries.

  The aim of this contribution is to evaluate the presence and use of the 19th century lexicographical sources in the Diccionari Normatiu Valencià, a lexicon that has increased with more than 20.000 words the DIEC. In order to demonstrate the presence of those sources, we will examine the Vocabulario valenciano-castellano -1868-, which gathers, in a time of a strong Spanish influence and undervaluation of the own language as a cultural fact, a considerable part of Valencian lexemes of etimologies and forms different from their Spanish counterparts.

  The Vocabulario’s aim was to help the acknowledgment and improvement of the Spanish language spoken by the Valencians, following a tradition started in the 17th century by Carles Ros in 1764 and later by Salvà in 1838.

  The contrast between the DNV and the Vocabulario occupies the main part of this paper, in which is is possible to see how the traditional Valencian lexemes from the 19th century, still in use, are integrated in the new dictionary by the AVL, that fulfills one of its main principles: the integration of traditional terms that are still in use in the Valencian regulations, yet frequently as secondary forms.
