Method: Autofilled survey provided to pharmacy students of the Universities of Granada and Sevilla (Spain) during their final year in school of pharmacy. Student opinion about care and teaching abilities of residents and area pharmacy specialists was evaluated using a 5-point Likert scale.
Results: 84 students were collected. A 70% of students consider that as much as 50% of their knowledge came from rounds with residents. Students believe that resident teaching lacks enough academical acknowledgment (93.75%); they estimate necessary to acquire teaching skills during residency (83.75%), and they would like to provide tutoring their medical students (85%). Students rated residents better than area pharmacy specialists on relational and motivational abilities.
