Resumen de Responsabilidade e heurística do temor em Hans Jonas

  Esta pesquisa, norteada pela abordagem metodológica analítica, tem como horizonte de investigação a responsabilidade solidária na época da ciência, especialmente no que tange ao futuro da natureza humana e da vida no Planeta diante das possibilidades que a ciência e a tecnologia nos oferecem. Hans Jonas ressalta que um dos problemas do século XX é a vulnerabilidade em que, indistintamente, estamos imersos e somos afetados, exigindo de todos não apenas a constatação, mas, sobretudo, a responsabilidade pela vida humana e extra-humana. A mudança do cenário da vida dos seres vivos é perceptível com muita facilidade já há algum tempo, colocando-se, porém, nos dias atuais, para além de uma simples ameaça de risco, podendo causar, inclusive, alteração e danos irreversíveis ao próprio futuro da humanidade. O “princípio responsabilidade” foca uma proposta de ética para uma época tecnicizada e cientificizada não mais centralizada no sujeito, porque, segundo Hans Jonas, as éticas tradicionais sustentadas no sujeito não dão conta de tratar da questão das novas tecnologias, tanto do ponto de vista de sua fundamentação como de sua aplicação. Considerados o poder e o ampliado potencial de seu fazer técnico, Hans Jonas pensa um novo imperativo ético, muito mais adequado aos desafios colocados pela centralidade da técnica nos tempos hodiernos, pertinente a um novo tipo de agir humano e voltado para um novo tipo de sujeito atuante, sendo expresso da seguinte forma: “Aje de modo a que os efeitos da tua ação sejam compatíveis com a permanência de uma autêntica vida humana sobre a Terra.” Com tal imperativo ético, Hans Jonas busca defender a tese do controle dos abusos que a técnica tem a possibilidade de realizar, pretendendo nortear o agir humano para o caminho de um progresso responsável

  This research, guided by analytical methodological approach, has the horizon of investigation the solidary responsibility in the age of science, especially regarding the “Future of Human Nature” and life on the planet with the possibilities that science and technology offer us. Hans Jonas points out that one of the problems of the twentieth century is the vulnerability that we all are immersed and affected, demanding of everyone not only the affirmation, but most of all the responsibility of human life in all its forms. The change of scenario in the life on human beings is perceptible for a while now, but nowadays is not only a simple threat, which can cause alteration and irreversible damage to the future of all humanity. The “imperative of responsibility” concentrates in a ethical proposal for a technic and science centered time no longer concentrated in the individual, because, according to Hans Jonas, traditional ethics relied on the individual is not enough to deal with the question of the new technologies, such as from the point of view of its grounding as of its application. Considered the power and the expanded potential of its technic, Hans Jonas thinks a new, much more suited to the challenges posed by the centrality of technique in modern times, relevant to the new type of human action and facing new kind of acting subject ethical imperative and is expressed as follows: “Act so that the effects of your action are compatible with the permanence of genuine human life on Earth.” With such an ethical imperative Hans Jonas argued the thesis seeks to control the abuses that the technique has the possibility to perform, intending to guide human action to the path of responsible progress.
