    Uranium ocupies a relevant place in Nuclear Induslry. However, it isimportantlo stand out its radioactive and toxic character. The internal irradiation isproduced by the deposition of radioactive materials into the body by inhalation, ingestión, or simple absorption. The effects are proportional to the ionization rate and to the sensitivity of the affected tissues. its symptoms are attributed to changes in the enzymatic systems of the suprarenal glands.
