Resumen de Viure la mirada. L'art per a xiquets i xiquetes: educar la mirada, la mà i el pensament

  This project starts from the principle that art is intrinsic to human beings and therefore is part of life. Consequently, the project does not emphasize the work of art but the onlooker. It means to approach art with an open spirit and the willingness to perform an act of knowledge. Thus, it is necessary to establish a private, silent and extended dialogue with the work of art. Through this procedure, children learn to observe, think and develop their communication skills. We suggest that art as a game that allows children to go beyond just making things since this method lets them start to express and debate their opinions about the nature of art.

  Aquest projecte parteix del principi que l’art és consubstancial a l’ésser humà i, per tant, és part de la vida. En conseqüència, el projecte no posa l’èmfasi en l’obra d’art sinó en el subjecte que aprén. Això implica acostar- nos a l’art amb un esperit obert i una predisposició per a realitzar un acte de coneixement. Per això, és necessari establir un diàleg íntim, silenciós i prolongat amb l’obra d’art. D’aquesta manera, els xiquets i les xiquetes aprenen a observar, a pensar i a desenvolupar les seues capacitats comunicatives.

  Aquesta és la idea de l’art com a joc que permet als xiquets anar més enllà de la pura producció, ja que així és com comencen a aprendre, a parlar i a discutir sobre la naturalesa de l’art.
