El Pleno del Excmo. Ayuntamiento de Guadalupe acordó el 4 de junio de 2009 por unanimidad (6 votos a favor del PSOE y 5 votos a favor del PP) reconocer la composición del Excmo. Ayuntamiento de Guadalupe que consta en el Acta de la Sesión de 1 de marzo de 1936: Adolfo Díaz Cañadas (Alcalde Presidente), José Pastor González (Primer Teniente de Alcalde) y demás concejales.
Se acordó también reconocer que no cometieron delito alguno durante su corta gestión y que los detenidos fueron condenados injustamente. Estos acuerdos mitigan el sufrimiento causado a los familiares. Y es un ejemplo de convivencia democrática.

The Plenary of the town hall of Guadalupe agreed on 4 June 2009 unanimously (6 votes for the PSOE and 5 votes for the PP) recognizing the composition of the town hall of Guadalupe contained in the meeting of March 1, 1936: Adolfo Díaz Cañadas (Mayor Chairman), Pastor José González (Deputy Mayor) and another councillors. It was also agreed to recognize they did not commit any crime during his short tenure and that detainees were wrongly convicted. These agreements mitigate the suffering caused to the family of the mayor President unjustly executed, and the suffering caused to the families. And it is an example of democratic coexistence.
