Repetición y performance en la fiesta de la Oración por Chile en La Tirana

  • En este texto abordo la temática de la redundancia y la repetición como partes fundamentales de la performance ritual en la fiesta de la Oración por Chile en La Tirana, siendo el objetivo fundamental de esta fiesta la entrega del mensaje doctrinario a partir de diferentes canales de expresión que son replicados constantemente a lo largo del año ritual tiraneño. Lo anterior se manifiesta en la iconografía de las andas o altares de la Virgen, en las músicas, la arquitectura religiosa y en la reiteración de la estructura de los rituales a lo largo del año. Cada uno de estos ámbitos permite la incorporación, además, de elementos distintivos que sumados a la estructura repetitiva, vinculan a los devotos en una organización segmentaría piramidal que consigue reproducir el culto y aumentar así el número de devotos participantes de la fiesta. Se han abordado estos datos a partir de los estudios de iconografía, de la antropología del ritual y de la antropología de la performance.  In this text addressed the theme of the redundancy and repetition as fundamental parts of the ritual performance in the ritual of the Virgen del Carmen de La Tirana, being the fundamental objective the doctrinal message delivery from different channels of expression that are replicated constantly throughout the year ritual tiraneño. The foregoing manifests itself in the iconography of the andas or altars to the Virgin, in the music, religious architecture and in the reiteration of the structure of the rituals throughout the year, each of these areas allows for the incorporation, in addition, distinctive elements that coupled with the repetitive structure, linked to the devotees in a organization segmental pyramidal that manage to play the worship and thus increase the number of devout participants of the celebration, have addressed these data from the studies of iconography, the anthropology of ritual and the anthropology of performance.
