    En este artículo acercamos al lector a esa maravillosa área de las matemáticas que llamamos topología, mediante algunos tópicos que platicamos de una forma accesible, divertida y sin ningún rigor matemático. Los tópicos que se abordan son conexidad, la banda de Möbius, la teoría de nudos y su aplicación a la biología molecular y finalmente hablamos de la conjetura de Poincaré.

    In this paper we bring the reader over to this wonderful area of the mathematics that we call Topology, by means of some topics that we present in an accessible form, entertained and without any mathematical rigor for the reader. The topics that approached are connectedness, the Möbius strip, the theory of knots and its application to the molecular Biology and finally we convey about Poincare’s conjecture.
