    Este escrito, pretende analizar ¿cuál es? y ¿cómo ha sido?, el papel que ha jugado a través de los tiempos, los distintos métodos y metodologías para trabajar la historia y qué importancia ha tenido cada una de ellas, dentro de la historiografía latinoamericana, especialmente la historia económica. Dicho análisis está encaminado en comprender las distintas modalidades que se han empleado para hacer historiografía de corte económico, haciendo para ello un recorrido desde la Retórica, la Pragmática y otras, hasta llegar a las más modernas, en especial, la Cliometría.

    AbstractThis writing, tries to analyze which is? and how has been? , the paper that has played through the times, the different methods and methodologies to work history and what importance has had each one of them, within the Latin American historiography, specially economic history. This analysis is directed in including/understanding the different modalities that have been used to make historiography of economic cut, doing for it a route from the Rhetoric, Pragmatic and the others, to arriving at most modern, in special, the Cliometría.
