  • Resumen
    • Graphs show how free energy changes with extent of reaction enables us to visualize a chemical reaction seeking its equilibrium position. The method for constructing such graphs is explained. Delta G and the partial derivative of G with respect to xi are different quantities in spite of the fact that both are equal to delta Go + RTlnQ. A reaction can take place at standard-state conditions in two distinctly different ways.
