• Objective: To identify errors associated with antibiotic prescriptions.

  Method: Cross sectional study conducted in a community pharmacy, whichreviewed prospectively antibiotic prescriptions.

  Results: We analysed 118 prescriptions of antibiotics: in 23% the dosage is not reported, 35.6% lacked the information on the duration of treatment and in 26% of cases; the prescribed container is not enough to complete the treatment
