El presente documento es una síntesis de un estudio investigativo interpretativo dirigido a analizar algunas de las representaciones sociales (significados y sentidos) que se encuentran detrás de los discursos de un grupo de estudiantes sordos señantes, frente a la lecto escritura; la investigación está basada en los resultados obtenidos en el análisis textual y de contenido de sus conceptos, apreciaciones y argumentos frente a este proceso, dicho análisis fue realizados tanto en lengua de señas como en Castellano, para ello se tomo a la población sorda señante del grado cuarto de la Fundación para el niño Sordo ICAL.

The present document is a synthesis of an interpretive investigative study directed to interpret some of the social representations (meanings and senses) that are found behind the speeches of a group of deaf-sign students, set against the reading-writing. The investigation is based on the results obtained in the textual analysis and from the content of its concepts, appreciations and arguments set against this process, this analysis was carried out as in Tongue of signs as in Spanish, for that they take the deaf-sign population of the fourth degree of the Foundation for the Deaf boy ICAL.
