  • Silica gel beads which have adsorbed certain chemical reagents such as acid-base indicators, detecting reagents, color-producing metal ions, and organic dyestuffs can be used in classrooms and field studies either as teaching aids or for students' laboratory work. These beads are light and unbreakable and can be easily carried to any place or used simply on the spot without spillage.
