    La teoría de la mentira de Umberto Eco, a la luz de la Web, nos permite comprender el dinamismo inherente a la función sígnica en este nuevo escenario. La acción y los juegos sígnicos involucrados en las diferentes modalidades de representación Web nos ayudarán a entender, desde su semiosis, la hipermediación característica. Los entornos de la humanidad o la triple caverna delimitada por Javier Echeverría (2004, 2013), nos servirá para atender a los diferentes procesos sígnicos del primer entorno (E1), segundo entorno (E2) y tercer entorno (E3), denominados, respectivamente, S1, S2 y S3. Es decir, los estadios de la presencia, mediación e hipermediación, aquí planteados, serán objeto de una aproximación conceptual que nos acercará a las célebres teorías de Bolter y Grusin (2000). A partir de tal tripartición se presentará la novedad de la semiosis Web.

    Umberto Eco�s Theory of Lie, in light of the Web, allows us to understand the dynamism inherent to the sign-function in this new scenario. Sign action and games involved in different forms of Web representation will help us understand, from its semiosis, their characteristic hypermediation. The humanity environments, or the triple cave delimited by Javier Echeverria (2004, 2013), help us understand the different sign processes in the first environment (E1), second environment (E2) and third environment (E3), called, respectively, S1, S2 and S3. That is, the phases of presence, mediation and hypermediation , set out here, will be the subject of a conceptual approach that will bring us to the famous Bolter and Grusin theories (2000). From this tripartition the novelty of the Web semiosis will be presented.
