  • The article discusses corporate governance. Consideration is given to the nature of governance, on overview of research into corporate governance, the complexity of governance arising from the varied contexts it can be viewed within, and areas for further scholarly inquiry. Open topics for research include stakeholder engagement, comparative analysis of governance, and the implications for governance of big data. The author believes big data has the potential to improve governance by converting data into information for decision makers.
