    Los cambios y los avances en las tecnologías de la información y comunicación (TIC) acontecidos a lo largo de las últimas décadas han generado un creciente interés para la comunidad científica. Precisamente gran parte de la labor investigadora  se ha centrado en analizar el impacto social de Internet en los menores. En este artículo, realizamos una revisión de la literatura especializada relacionada con la temática en cada uno de los campos científicos, con la finalidad de analizar el enfoque y la perspectiva estudiada. Al mismo tiempo que analizamos los hábitos de uso y comportamientos de los adolescentes en torno a Internet en España. Para ello se ha utilizado los datos del estudio “Encuesta sobre hábitos de uso y seguridad de Internet de menores y jóvenes en España” del Ministerio del Interior publicado en junio de 2014.

    Changes and advances in the technologies of information and communication (technology ICT) that occurred over the past decades have generated a growing interest for the scientific community. Precisely much of the research has focused on analysing the social impact of the Internet on children. In this article, we carry out a review of the literature related to the topic in each of the fields of science, in order to analyze the approach and studied perspective. At the same time, we analyze the habits of use and behaviors of teens on the Internet in Spain. To do this we have used data from the study "Survey on habits of use and safety of the Internet for children and young people in Spain" of the Ministry of the Interior published in June 2014.
