  • Birth weight (PN), weaning weight (PD), weaning age (ED) and daily gain weight (GDP) were evaluated in 543 crossbred calves in a farm, located in Zulia State, Venezuela. Data were analyzed by the least squares method, considering the predominance of calf breed (R: PH=Holstein, PS=Brown Swiss and PB=Brahman), year of birth (A: 1985 to 1991), season of birth (E: dry, intermediate, rainy), sex (S: M=male F=female), number of calving (NP: 1,2, 3 y =4), and its interactions, and the linear regression of calving age and milk production.
