  • A total of 216 bovines dual purpose was test in eight (8) properties for the purpose of determining the revalence of leptospirosis in each season (rain and dry) of Las Yaguas sector, Lara State. For in each season it were carried out two sample of blood serum for each animal in order to determine the seroreactionary to leptospira by the technique of microscopic agglutination. A total of 250 and 182 samples of blood serum were processed for rain and dry season, respectively, using the serovares: icterohaemorrhagiae, canicola, pomona, grippotyphosa, hardjo and hebdomadis.
