Effects of time of parturition, shearing and flushing on lambing to estrus interval in Polwarth ewes.

  • The objective of this study was to evalúate the effects of time of parturition, flushing and time of shearing on lambing to estrus interval in two consecutive years, using 93 and 94 Polwarth ewes, respectively. These animáis were randomly assigned to 8 treatments in a 2x2x2 factorial arrangement: lambing in fall vs spring; flushing on ¡mproved pasture; and shearing in October vs December.
