    Mientras que su gemelo, el “Lay Vessel North Ocean 105”, trabaja en las aguas de Malasia o en los yacimientos atlánticos de Brasil, frente a Macaé, el nuevo “Lay Vessel 108” completa la instalación de sus específicos equipos para el tendido de tuberías en el fondo marino. Este es el tercer proyecto que comparten el astillero vigués Metalships & Docks y la empresa de ingeniería offshore en hidrocarburos norteamericana McDermott (Houston – Texas), dedicada a trabajos submarinos.

    Metalships & Docks completes McDermott contract SECOND FAST-TRANSIT VESSEL BY GALICIAN SHIPYARD Summary: While her twin, “Lay Vessel North Ocean 105”moves between Malaysian waters and Brazil’s Atlantic reserves off Macae, the new “Lay Vessel 108” is undertaking the installation of specialized equipment for the laying of pipelines on the seabed.

    This is the third project shared by Vigo shipyard Metalships & Docks and the US Offshore oil engineering company McDermott (Houston - Texas), specialists in submarine work.
