Una respuesta estética a la crisis del pensar metafísico

    Sin duda hoy vivimos malos tiempos para cultivar el pensar metafísico. La lógica del cálculo y de la rentabilidad que impera en las sociedades capitalistas actuales no deja cabida a formas de conocimiento que necesitan de estados no rentables como la serenidad y la contemplación. Pero nuestro tiempo no sólo se caracteriza porque haya menos metafísica, sino porque van reduciéndose las posibilidades para este pensar. Lo que queda, por tanto, es iniciar la búsqueda de una solución desde dentro del mundo tecnificado en que vivimos y no a pesar de él. Para ello habrá que echar mano de una forma de conocimiento que reúna la doble condición de, por un lado, sustraerse de la cadena y circuitos que impone la técnica y, por otro, poner al hombre en el camino del preguntar metafísico. En este sentido, de lo que se trata es de retornar a las «experiencias primeras» desde dentro del sistema técnico y no a pesar de él.

    Without any doubt, nowadays, we are living hard times to cultivate the metaphysical thinking. Calculation logic and the profitability that is currently taking part in capitalist societies do not have room for any type of knowledge which needs non-feasible states such as serenity and meditation. However, our time is not only characterized by the lack of metaphysics but by the reduced possibilities for this thinking. What it remains, therefore, is to begin the searching of a solution from the inside of the technical world in which we are living and not in spite of it. To do this, it will be necessary to recourse to a way of nowledge that meets the double condition of, on the one hand, back out of the chain and circuits imposed by technique and, on the other hand, to situate mankind on the way of the metaphysical questioning. In this sense, what is relevant is to come back to the «first experiences» from inside the technical system and not in spite of it.
