  • The article reports that Brazilian investors have been taught the downside of public merger and acquisition (M&A), following the combination of telecommunication companies Oi Corp. and PT. It is noted that increased disclosure standards have been called by Brazilian shareholders. It is mentioned that the sale of the Portuguese assets from the start has been planned by the Oi board.
