  • The article reports on the reform of the project finance and securitisation rules by the Costa Rican Securities Regulator. Topics noted include the implementation of the reform to address the limitations in asset collateral, related party financing, and government approvals, creation of a regulatory framework to preserve the benefits of financial structures to final investors, and other provisions included in the regulation such as public offering of securities and mutual funds.
