  • An interview with author and educator Ann Bancroft, described to be one of the most prominent female polar explorers, is presented. When asked to give a brief background of her exploration in the Arctic, she mentions how it all started in 1986 when she joined an international expedition to the North Pole. She also discusses some of the environmental changes she has seen in the Arctic, how her passions for exploration and female empowerment align, and her next exploratory trip.
