  • The article discusses the technique the Great Britain government is using to encourage citizens to be ecofriendly without the need for expensive public policy. Topics cited include the creation of the Nudge Unit in 2010, formally known as the Behavioral Insights Team (BIT), which directs more effective and efficient policy to influence social behavior, what counts as a nudge, according to the book "Nudge," by Richard Thaler and Cass Sunstein, and BIT's 4 stages for creating an effective policy.
