  • Resumen
    • The article analyzes documents released as a result of the U.S. Senate Select Committee on Intelligence's investigation into the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency's (CIA) program of enhanced interrogation that resulted in the torture of detainees. Topics include a struggle between the CIA, U.S. Senate, and administration of U.S. President Barack Obama; the impact of dogmatism and partisanship between Democrats and Republicans on handling of the case; and a discussion of the gaps and inaccuracies contained in the unclassified documents available to the public. Discussion of the involvement of former U.S. President George W. Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney is included.
