The article discusses the integration of Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) systems used by the U.S. military, focusing on the potential benefits of switching to an integrated enterprise system. Topics include cybersecurity; the ability to integrate new technologies and share data; and the ability of integrated systems to lower costs.
