  • The article focuses on the acquisition by a consortium led by British investment manager Venn of a 480 million euro portfolio of Dutch residential mortgage loans from GE Artesia Bank in March 2014. Topics discussed include the fact that it was the first time that a pool of Dutch residential mortgages has been sold outright by a Dutch bank to private equity investors, and the emergence of several key trends in global finance.
