  • The article reports on the mutual market access scheme, called Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect, created through a partnership of Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKSE) and Shanghai Stock Exchange (SHSE) for further internationalization the domestic capital markets of China. The requirements for potential investors to be eligible for the scheme are stated. It outlines the trading rules and regulations to be followed by the exchanges and discusses the impact of the link in terms of index inclusion.
