  • The article examines the challenges posed by the related party rules and director requirements under the amended listing agreement of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) in line with the Companies Act for Indian-listed public companies. Topics discussed are the problem with the director requirements of the regulation, the enforcement of information disclosure norm, and the proposed implementation of insider trading norms to prevent misuse of non-public price-sensitive information.
