Resumen de Nicaragua: : Transparency in financial services.
The article reports on the Regulation for the Transparency of Financial Operations that has been approved by the Superintendence of Banks of Nicaragua on September 20, 2013. It states the general principles of the regulation, as well as the duties of the board of directors of every financial institution with regard to providing information pertaining to a financial agreement. Definitions of abusive clauses under the law are presented.
