    El objetivo de este artículo es ampliar el estudio de las artes suntuarias en el contexto del Reino de Mallorca, que se ha centrado principalmente en la orfebrería y las artes textiles. Con este objetivo, se analizan determinadas producciones de vidrio esmaltado y bronce fundido importadas por los mercaderes desde territorios tan lejanos como Damasco, Venecia o Flandes. La idea es reconstruir un corpus de objetos que en la práctica ha desaparecido, salvo algunas piezas excepcionales, a partir de la información proporcionada por los inventarios post mortem realizados por los notarios de la época. Finalmente, se aportan algunas ideas sobre el uso y disfrute de esta cultura material sofisticada por parte de algunos miembros de la sociedad medieval

    The aim of this article is to expand the studies of sumptuary arts in the context of the Kingdom of Majorca, which have been centred in goldsmithing and textile arts. Thus here the focus of analysis are specific productions of enamelled glass and melted bronze imported by merchants from sites as distant as Damascus, Venice or Flanders. The goal is to reconstruct a corpus of objects (currently inexistent, with the exception of a few exceptional pieces) based on the thorough information gathered in the post mortem inventories compiled by the notaries at the time. Finally, there have been included some comments on the use and enjoyment of this sophisticated material culture by some members of the medieval society
