Resumen
Este artículo se propone: a) Describir la constelación semántica de la metáfora de la "máquina estatal", sus orígenes y sus usos específicos en el contexto cultural y político alemán, en particular, desde un empleo propio del Antiguo Régimen hasta las resonancias críticas republicanas o conservadoras que adquiere dicho término en relación al acontecimiento revolucionario francés; b) Rastrear las citas específicas en los textos hegelianos, dilucidar su origen y objetivos, y especificar el carácter de la influencia schilleriana sobre Hegel, con el trasfondo de las reelaboraciones críticas que éste hiciera sobre Kant y Fichte.The main aim of this paper is: a) to describe the semantic constellation from the metaphor of “machine state”, its origins and specific uses in the cultural and political German context, and specially, from a particular use proper to the Old Regime to the republican or conservative critical echoes in relation to the French revolutionary event; b) to trace the specific references in Hegelian texts, to elucidate its origins and aims, and to specify the extent of the Schillerian influence on Hegel, all of this on the background of his critical reelaborations on Kant and Fichte.
