In this work, we can see athematic coincidence between Hegeland Cassirer. Firstly, both authors have areflection about the Spirit, and secondly, thisreflection embraces the subject of religion. The objective herein consists in contrastingthe acceptance towards religion betweenthe concept of religion and spirit in bothauthors. In Hegel’s writing, the subjectof religious reality is developed in threemoments: natural religion, ethic religion, revealed religion. Whereas in Cassirer’swriting, the exposure of the symbolic formof myth is precised as a necessary prelude toreligion.
